Grilling for a good cause

-

Villagers in Yalding are preparing for their 16th barbecue in aid of Gambian children.

The annual community fundraiser will rustle up funds for Gambia Building Links in Education (GamBLE), which supports school children in Farato and the surrounding area.

There is even a Yalding School in Farato supported by the charity, which was set up by Karen and Tony Di Marco in 2000.

The barbecue will be held at its usual venue of Thatcher’s in Benover Road, from noon on Sunday. As well as plenty of food, games and fun are promised.

Tickets are £7 in advance (£20 for a family), or on the door for £8 or £25.

Go to www.gam-ble.co.uk or visit facebook.com/ gamblegambia for further information.
