Excitement brewing for beer festival

-

Locally produced beers and ciders will be on offer at Hunton village club’s first Beer and Cider festival next month.

The village club in West Street will be throwing open its doors to visitors to enjoy an afternoon of live music, local produce, stalls and of course a tipple or two.

As the first event of its kind the villagers will start with a small but potent variety of local brews.

Organisers promise a live demonstration of apple pressing, and even the chance for aspiring brewers to have a go pressing their own juice. There will be apple bobbing as well as games and other entertainment.

The festival kicks off from noon on Saturday, September 24, and all money raised will be invested in developing new facilities at the club. All people under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets are £2 for adults and to reserve one in advance, ring 07528 578198.
