Corrections & clarifications

-

An article in last week’s KM stated an accident occurred at the junction of Sutton Road and Armstrong Road when it should have read Loose Road and Armstrong Road. We apologise for the error.

Last week we reported Pokémon Go was being blamed for a rise in anti-social behaviour at Millennium Green in Allington. We said Lorraine Otway was a cleaner and she walked her dog there. We would like to clarify the pet belongs to her grandfather-in-law and her job role is dust relocation technician. It was also a neighbour, not herself, who found a bong in the park.

An article last week about new stores opening at The Mall, Maidstone said The Works bookshop would be open on Friday. We’re happy to clarify the opening date is this Friday, August 26.

Last week we reported Arkadiy Berdikyan admitted causing death by dangerous driving after hitting Park Wood biker Dave Currer. Berdikyan actually pleaded guilty to causing death by careless driving after the charge was revised down. We apologise for the error, caused by wrong information being provided to us by the court service.
