Motorbase eyeing championship boost

Motorbase Performance are in British Touring Car Championship action at Rockingham this weekend. The Wrotham-based team are 95 points clear in the independent teams’ standings after their fifth win of the season at Knockhill. Andrew Jordan tops the independent drivers’ standings with team-mate Mat Jackson in second place. Team manager Oly Collins said: “After a great showing last time out, we’re keen to pick up where we left off. “We’re leading the independent teams’ standings along with a one-two in the independent drivers’ championship so hopefully we can increase that lead.”
