Kings Hill are on the brink of winning Championsh­ip East.

They’re 19 points clear of Staplehurs­t going into the final game against Borstal tomorrow (Saturday).

Mohammed Cowdhury made 126 and captain Shaun McMurray 53 not out in a total of 286- 8 against St Margaret’s.

The pair also delivered with the ball, McMurray claiming 4-29 and Cowdhury 4- 48 as Saints made 121 in reply, Kings Hill winners by 165 runs.

Second-placed Staplehurs­t took the title to the last day, beating Ash by 116 runs.

Sam McConnel (95) and Tom Davey (86 not out) led the hosts to 291-2. McConnel (3- 41) and Tom Henson (3- 42) helped dismiss Ash for 175.

Hollingbou­rne ended a run of Premier Division defeats with victory over Shooters Hill. Andy Griffiths (54) and Zachary Gayfer (36) put on 100 for the opening wicket in a total of 199-9.

Bourne won by 35 runs with Jack Cook taking 3-38 as Shooters were held to 164- 8.

Leybourne made it back-toback wins in their fight for Division 1A West survival.

Ashley Martin took 5-18 as New Ash Green slumped to 14- 4 and 101 all out.

Jack Bacon (40 not out) secured a seven-wicket victory which keeps Bourne a point outside the relegation zone.

Twelve points in defeat lifted Hunton out of the bottom two in Division 1A Central. James Price took 4-18 as opponents Sheldwich closed on 209- 6.

Alex Newman was run out for 97 as Hunton fell six runs short, 203 all out.

Barry Curtis took 7-29 in Headcorn’s win over Sheppey.

The Islanders were bowled out for 135 in reply to 162.

The Mote 3rds lost to champions-elect Milstead by 111 runs. Martin Prudence (37) was one of only two players to reach double figures as The Mote were bowled out for 117 in reply to 228-7.

Holborough Anchorians moved 10 points clear with a game to play in Division 1B Central after beating title rivals Sherwood.

Level on points going into the match, David Tucker made 101 not out in Anchs’ total of 208-3. Paul Bullivant (3- 62) took the final wicket as Sherwood fell five runs short on 203.

Leeds & Broomfield took the Division 2A East title race to the last day by beating Mersham Sports.

Leeds (259- 6) won by 40 runs, with Mersham held to 219- 6.

Staplehurs­t 2nds clinched promotion from Division 2B Central with an eight-wicket win at Upchurch 4ths.

Steven Wright (3-11) and Colin Breed (3-13) did the damage as 10-man Upchurch were bowled out for 76.

Rumwood (265-9) still have an outside chance of pipping Staplehurs­t to the title after a 49-run success over Lordswood 4ths.

Norman Ali (74) top scored as The Mote 4ths closed on 195- 8 in a four-wicket defeat by Milstead 2nds. Jonathan Fenn took 6-29 in Yalding’s Division 2C victory at Gravesend RF.

His efforts saw the hosts dismissed for 148, then Alistair Ratcliff (54) secured a four-wicket victory.

Captain Shane Dawson (48 not out ) led Holborugh Anchorians 3rds to a six-wicket success after Sherwood 3rds were held to 140- 5.
