Kings Hill won Championsh­ip East despite losing on the final day.

Three points picked up in their defeat by Borstal were enough to see them over the line.

They finished two points clear of Staplehurs­t, who won at Sherwood.

There were three wickets each for Mohammed Cowdhury and Neil Taylor as Borstal closed on 260-7.

Jancan Adams made 68 but the champions were bowled out for 160, beaten by 100 runs.

Tom Henson made a century as runners-up Staplehurs­t beat Sherwood by 122 runs.

He hit 102 in a total of 243-7 then Richard Jackson claimed 5-29 as Sherwood slipped to 121 all out.

Hunton lost to Holcombe & Blue Bell Hill in Division 1A Central but stayed up.

They collapsed to 59 all out in reply to 245- 8.

Headcorn clinched fourth place with a 59-run win over Gore Court.

James Barker (46) helped Headcorn to 167-8, then Barry Curtis claimed 5-26 as Court were dismissed for 108.

The Mote 3rds came fifth, losing to Bobbing Court & Lower Halstow by 32 runs.

Norman Ali made 72 but they were 174 all out in reply to 206-5.

Champions Holborough Anchorians cruised to a nine-wicket victory inside 11 overs in Division 1B Central.

Ruchier Bhomia (4- 6) and Paul Bullivant (3-15) combined as Bapchild 3rds were out for 51.

Lenham reached 153- 6 in an eight-wicket defeat by Lordswood 3rds.

Leeds & Broomfield’s hopes of snatching the Division 2A East title were ended by rain.

Dom O’Connell made 116 in a score of 239-7 against Borstal.

The Medway side were 133- 4 when rain stopped play, Leeds finishing runners-up to Cobham.

Rumwood clinched promotion as Division 2B Central runners-up.

Joe Millen took 3-14 as Milstead were bowled out for 99 and Rumwood won by six wickets.

They held off the challenge of The Mote 4ths, who chased down a big target against Gravesend.

Set 280 for victory, openers Jonathan Crowhurst (121) and Henry Buckland (84) set up a six-wicket success.

Holborough Anchorians 3rds held on to second place in Division 2C Central despite a heavy defeat at Holmesdale 3rds.

They were bowled out for 55 in reply to 244, beaten by 189 runs.

Gareth Cross finished on 100 not out as Yalding beat Hunton Wanderers 2nds by six wickets.

His knock included nine fours and three sixes and saw his side home after Hunton were bowled out for 165.
