Chris Pett scored twice as Castle Colts began their Premier Division campaign by beating Aylesford 8-3.

Larkfield Green beat Langley Athletic 3-2 with goals from Ricky Campbell, Sam Carter and George O’Mahoney. Langley replied through Shane Crouch and Dan Young.

Fishermans Arms’ first game at this level ended in a 3- 0 defeat to Star United, for whom Nathan Laker, Mark Roberts and George Honey scored.

East Malling Reserves marked their Division 1 debut with a 2-1 victory at White Horse. James Lawton scored twice from free-kicks for East Malling with Ed Panting replying for White Horse, who finished with 10 men after Kevin Clarke was dismissed for violent conduct.

A Matt Terry hat-trick helped Barming Youth beat Crosskeys 5-2. Martin Burgham and Matt Hughes netted the other Barming goals, while Rhys Bingham and Sean Pelling scored the consolatio­ns for Crosskeys.

Snodland Town won a nine-goal thriller against Invicta Rangers with Harry Dawes and Bill Bleach both netting twice as it finished 5- 4.

Ten goals were shared when Barming Blues met Park Royal Reserves in Division 2.

Dan Brown (2), Elliott Gardiner, Dan Gray and Jake Wright netted for Park Royal but goals from Paul Young, Phil Griffiths, Ignacio Marset, Adam Bergin and Chikezie Nmadueke earned Blues a point.

Invicta Sunday slipped to a 2-1 defeat at home to Walnut Wanderers.

Two goals from Casey Bridge put Wanderers in control and despite a great strike from Shaun Dowling, Invicta couldn’t salvage a result.

Cranbrook Town, having moved across from the West Kent Sunday League, started with a 4-2 win at Coxheath & Farleigh.

Jack Campbell scored a hat-trick for Cranbrook and Mark Skinner also netted, with Matt Batstone getting both Coxheath goals.

The Division 3 match between Marden and Maidstone Tempests had to be abandoned after 52 minutes when Tempests captain Patrick Armstrong broke his collar bone.

Piers Futcher (2) and Andy Wells helped Headcorn to a 3-1 win against Barming Colts while Kings Park Rangers beat South East Eagles 7-1 with two goals each for Nathan Stannard, Luke Rowland and William Holness.
