Hands up for site safety

-

A developer visited Langley Park Primary Academy to warn children of the dangers posed by construction sites.

Children heard from Taylor Wimpey’s regional health and safety executive adviser Chris Highsted as well the company’s mascots. Taylor Wimpey is in the process of building 600 homes at Langley Park, and each child was given the opportunity to get up close to a digger while wearing high-visibility vests provided by the builder in goody bags.

The pupils were then invited to design a banner to show what they had learned from the presentation.

The winning design will be displayed on the railings outside the sales suite at the development.
