Harvest fun down on the farm
A harvest festival at a farm near Maidstone this weekend will include pig racing, apple bobbing and a berry trail.
The festival at Lake Farm, Sutton Valence will be held tomorrow (Saturday) between 11am and 4pm.
Farm owner Lizzie Offen’s pigs will be racing throughout the day, and there will be local cider to slake spectators’ thirsts and a cake competition to keep the munchies at bay.
Music will be provided by local band Crooked Style, and there will be a build-a-scarecrow competition.
Entry is £4 for adults, children go free.
