Thank you for saving cat Connor

Editor News editor Assistant news editor Sometime while we were away on holiday, from September 10, and a friend was house and cat sitting for us, Connor, our now feeble and somewhat confused ginger tom, strayed out onto the very busy Loose Road.

I understand Connor was sitting in the middle of the road and this lovely lady and her husband stopped and attracted the attention of my friend, and Connor was rescued.

I don’t have the name of this lovely lady and her husband, but if you could publish this email to say how very relieved we all are, I would be most grateful. Such an act of kindness.

Connor has been a big part of my life, and I would have been devastated if he hadn’t made it, and my friend would never have forgiven himself. So a very big thank you from us to you, whoever you are.
