Need a roomy, reliable asset for your business? Citroen may have found the solution

Citroen is gunning for the all-conquering Ford Transit with its new mid-sized van, the Dispatch, and it might just have what it takes to send its rivals packing. Whether you’re a tradesman or deliveryman, in the building sector or work for a service company, the Citroen Dispatch Van could be for you. to suit different aspects of trade. With a height of 1.9m squared it can reach all kinds of places that are off limits for rival vans, from underground car parks, to airports and shopping centres. Practical and comfortable, the 2016 model has new features which the older Citroen vans don’t offer. With a range of advanced BlueHDi diesel engines, each model meets the latest Euro 6 standards making it highly economical. To maximize the space and versatility, the Citroen Dispatch provides a loadthrough bulkhead and foldingside passenger seat. You’ll also find an anti-shift net on the drivers side for extra safety. The van also converts into your own mobile office – the central arm set incorporates a pivoting table with a sturdy elastic retainer that’s ideal for securing your laptop or tablet. You can also opt for optional electric sliding doors which can be opened and closed simply by moving your foot under the corner of the rear bumper. The Dispatch has technology that makes work on the move easier. There’s an optional sat-nav system with a seveninch colour touchscreen which has useful services such as real-time traffic information, location of service stations, car parks and their prices plus a search function for points of local interest. It has safe and new smart technology – recognising speed limits everywhere in real time. Speed limit sign recognition uses the board camera to read signs and send clear recommendations to the driver. With the help of the multifunctional windscreenmounted camera and steering wheel movements, this safety innovation can detect driver drowsiness and send audible and visual alerts. It can also detect potential collisions and automatically applies the brakes. There’s also blind spot detection.
