Guess the song at village tea party

-

Tea, cake and a guess the song contest were all the ingredients needed for a village tea party.

The doors at Detling Village Hall in Pilgrim’s Way were thrown open for people to enjoy socialising on Monday afternoon.

Tea parties are held four times a year and reflect the changing seasons. This week’s autumn gathering was organised by Gill Humfrey and husband David played the piano.

He said: “We had around 40 people attend. They are hosted for the older people in the area. We would also like to thank our loyal band of volunteers who make sure the tea gets brewed and the cakes baked.”
