Rugby players to the rescue!

-

A team of rugby players showed a softer side, when they went to meet some of the rescue animals at the RSPCA centre in Leybourne.

Cliffe Crusaders RFC spent time meeting the many mistreated and abandoned animals including dogs, cats, kittens, guinea pigs and even a ferret.

Among the pets awaiting homes was four-year-old American bulldog cross Bella, the Castle Way shelter’s longest resident and a kitten named after the All Blacks.

If you think you could offer any of the animals a home, call RSPCA Leybourne Animal Centre on 0300 123 0751.
