Bearsted’s Matt Ford is heading to Q School in a bid to retain his European Tour card for next season. Ford needed a top 110 finish in the Race to Dubai rankings but finished the season in 133rd place with just over 182,000 euros. He made the cut at the Portugal Masters last week, finishing in 69th place but he never got the near topfive finish that would have guaranteed his card.
