Will Gidman has signed for Kent making the move permanent following a successful loan spell this summer. The 31-year-old allrounder was released by Nottinghamshire. Gidman scored five fifties for Kent in Specsavers County Championship matches, and claimed 10 wickets in 11 matches in all formats including 3-28 against the latter in Kent’s run to the Royal London One-Day Cup quarter-finals. Gidman said: “I’m excited to make the move permanent. Kent are such as a great club with exciting prospects and I feel privileged I have the opportunity to be part of it.”
