Huntones in Marasong: The Huntones are taking part in the Marasong at Yalding Church on Saturday, November 19 from 5.00-5.30pm. Go along and support them. The Marasong runs from 9am-9pm with musicians and singers taking a half-hour slot each throughout the event. To enable you to plan your choices of listening, programmes priced £1.50 are available from Yalding Post Office or by phoning 01622 814267. All proceeds will go to the Gambian sister school linked to Yalding Primary School. Supper dance: A few tickets are still available for the Friends of St Mary’s Supper Dance at the village hall on Saturday, November 12. It starts at 7.30pm with live music and dancing to local band, 2bc, a hot supper and well-stocked bar. More than 30 people sat down to enjoy a bowl of delicious home made soup, bread, ham and cheese, followed by tea, coffee and home made cakes.
