Home made cakes, Christmas gifts, refreshmen­ts including all day breakfasts, games, raffle and more. Entry free – donations to Maidstone Shelter welcome. Christmas fair: The Friars, Aylesford, is holding its Christmas Fair on Saturday and Sunday, November 26-27 from 1-am-4pm. Learn to skate on the free skating rink, visit Father’s Christmas’ parlour, meet Gary the clown, take the Polar Express from the North Pole to the South Pole and wander round the craft and produce stalls. Refreshmen­ts, including a BBQ, tombola, raffle and much more. Entry £4.50, under 12s free. WI: Aylesford and Eccles WI will meet on Wednesday, November 23 at 7.30pm in the Brassey Rooms, Station Road, Aylesford. The theme for the evening will be Pearly Kings and Queens with a talk from a Pearly King and Queen. Members are invited to wear something on this theme. The competitio­n will be for anything Christmass­y and there will be the usual bring and buy stall. Aylesara: The next meeting is on Thursday, November 24 at 2pm in the community centre, Aylesford. This will be the AGM and members are encouraged to attend as this will be your chance to elect a new committee and put forward any ideas you may have about the club.
