On Sunday December 4 from 11am3pm, the hall will host the Crafty Grafty Christmas Fair. This is an opportunit­y to buy Christmas gifts locally. Men@ Breakfast: Brian Walpole, an ex-Concorde pilot, will be the speaker at the men’s breakfast on Saturday, November 26 at 8am. Christmas Tree Festival: The Friends of St John the Baptist church will be running this event over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday. December 3-4. Village groups and business have been invited to decorate trees in the style of their group and the trees can be viewed from 10am-4pm on Saturday and 10am-3.30pm on Sunday. Charity Christmas quiz: On Saturday, December 3, there will be a fun quiz to raise money to send Ed to Peru. He will be working with the Vine Trust for three weeks next summer to help children, families and communitie­s in areas of extreme poverty.
