Try parking with Lions

If you’re having difficulty finding parking when in town for Christmas shopping, try a charity car park.

Volunteers from the Maidstone Lions Club are running the Staceys Street car park on Saturdays including Christmas Eve.

The lot is just off the roundabout for Royal Engineers Road and Staceys Street, at the County Gate Offices next to the job centre.

It is in operation between 9am and 5pm, with every penny collected going towards good causes.
