Man found after search

A man in his 30s who went missing in Maidstone was found after an eight-hour search.

Emergency crews were alerted at 5am on Saturday following concerns for the welfare of the man, who is thought to have last been seen at his home in the town.

A helicopter and ground crews were involved in the widespread search effort. The man was found safe and well at 1pm.
