Fun and fundraising at festive party
The Kent branch of a national charity raised more than £500 at its Christmas party.
The Cleft Lip and Palate Association runs nationwide events to generate money and awareness in support of families affected by the condition.
Around one in every 700 babies is born with a cleft, which causes a person to have a gap in their upper lip and/or the roof of their mouth. The Kent branch held its Christmas party at Heather House in Parkwood on Saturday.
Affected families were invited to attend and activities included a raffle, tombola, and a guess the name of the doll game.
Children from the age of seven weeks to 15 enjoyed entertainment from Emporium Parties.
