K Sports under-15s stunned Canterbury City with a 9-0 victory in the Kent Youth League. The previous meeting between the teams saw K Sports win 2-1 in September but the scale of this victory showed the progress made in their debut Kent Youth League season. Sports took the lead within five minutes when the Canterbury keeper parried Tom McCarthy’s header and Alex Selntigia forced the ball home. Selntigia then set up Matthew Coleman for the second and Oliver Aston for the third, the latter shooting across goal. Coleman’s cross was met by Ethan Gabriel and the excellent Aston squeezed home the fifth before half-time. James Robinson’s perfect ball split the Canterbury defence to find Aston, whose superb chip earned him a hat-trick. Robinson then beat two defenders before scoring his first goal of the season. Selntigia won a penalty which was converted by Coleman, who soon completed the scoring with his hat-trick. K Sports: Foreman, Young, Nisbet, McCarthy, Wood, Robinson, Mead, Simmons, Gabriel, Selntigia, Aston, Murch, Polom, Coleman, Hilder. Bearsted under-18s secured their place at the top of the Kent Youth League with a 4-1 victory at Faversham Strike Force. Bears led 1-0 at half-time through a Kieren Patel header. Following the restart, the Bears doubled their lead through another header as Callum MacGregor guided home Luke Snazel’s corner. Faversham pulled one back after some poor Bearsted marking from a free-kick with 25 minutes to go. But Bearsted changed their system and Tom Lindsey added two more goals to complete the victory.

Bearsted: Fraser Lee, Callum West, Kieren Patel, Callum MacGregor, Harry Whitfield, Harry Hays, Chris Carcary, Edoardo Cammarano, Tom Lindsey, Will Richards, Luke Snazel. Sub: Joe Sturrock.
