Inquests on hold into men’s deaths
Inquests into the deaths of two men were opened and adjourned at Archbishop’s Palace, Maidstone, on Wednesday.
Paul Meakin, 48, a highvoltage cable joiner, was found by his wife suspended in the garden of his Maidstone home on Boxing Day. The hearing will resume on March 21.
Assistant coroner Christopher Morris also heard the case of Eric Morris, a former security officer from Wales, who had moved to Maidstone. The 85-year-old died at Maidstone Hospital from a subdural haematoma on December 28.
His inquest will be next month.
