Weekend of antiques at showground

Beat the January blues with a trip to an antiques and collectors fair.

The Detling Fair returns to the Kent Showground this weekend. It will feature 300 stalls, spread across two halls and outside pitches.

Helen Martin, director of organisers B2B Events, said: “It has a great selection of exhibitors, offering a wonderfully diverse range of items, from ceramics and clothing to furniture, lighting and rugs.

“With some dealers taking part from the continent, there is a decidedly cosmopolitan flavour.” Fans of vintage fashion will also enjoy its Urban Village section with a variety of men’s and women’s clothing from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s.

The showground opens for early entry from 8.30am on Saturday at a cost of £6 per person, with standard entry for £5 per person starting at 10am, and closing at 4.30pm. The show will be open on Sunday from 10am until 3.30pm, with entry at £4.
