The course will be held at Hi Kent, 18 Brewer Street on Monday, January 23 from 10am-2pm for £20. Topics covered will include deaf awareness, the alphabet, numbers, questions and family. There is no examinatio­n but there will be the opportunit­y to move on to study Level 1 BSL with Hi Kent. Hearing Aid Aftercare: Hi Kent, the local charity that supports people with a hearing loss in Kent, will be holding a one day clinic is running at Fusion Healthy Living Centre, 2-3 Cobb Way on Monday, January 16 1pm-2.30pm. Energize Community Choir: In the lead up to Christmas the choir raised £1,200 for various charities. New members are always welcome and the group meet on Wednesdays at 7.30pm.
