Maidstone could drop into the relegation zone for the first time this season – but there will be no sulking at the Gallagher.
With no game tomorrow (Saturday), North Ferriby and Woking have the chance to climb out of the National League bottom four at United’s expense.
Manager Jay Saunders is surprised his side haven’t been in there already after a run of 12 defeats in 16 games but he’s convinced better times are ahead.
He said: “We haven’t spoken about dropping into the bottom four. I’m only concerned with getting our next win on the board. If we get one, it will spark us a little bit and we can get a couple on the bounce.
