A slice of apple pie for everyone who goes to quiz

-

Sort out homelessness. I think Hermitage Lane’s former nurses home should have been transformed into accommodation, with classes held downstairs. There’s two chances to support Maidstone Mencap next month at the charity’s base in Cobtree Hall.

The first event is an Apple Pie Quiz on Saturday, March 11, starting at 7pm. It is so-called as quiz master Robin Seath started a tradition when he jokingly said he would take part if someone baked him an apple pie. Now there’s a slice for everyone who goes.

Teams should be formed of eight people maximum and the cost is £6 per per person. More details available from Rita on 07790 643218.

On Saturday, March 25, there will be a jumble and nearly new sale running from 2.30pm. Entry is 50p per person and refreshments are available. More details are available from Lesley on 01622 892433
