Families get castle wildlife bug

-

Visitors to Leeds Castle got the chance to meet animals close up at Leeds Castle’s Birds, Bugs and Beasts event.

From owls to giant African land snails, families took part in a series of fun educational workshops to learn more about the lives of these diverse creatures.

There was plenty on offer this week, including exploring the Yew Maze to conquering the Knight’s Realm and Squires’ Courtyard adventure playgrounds to daily free flying falconry displays.

On selected days throughout the week, people could also join the Wildlife Warden to try to spot moorhens, black swans and other wildlife while jumping in a few puddles along the way on the Children’s Wellie Walk.
