Coffee and cake success

-

Coffee and cake lovers raised £190 for a good cause on Saturday.

The monthly morning in aid of Holy Trinity Church held at the Scout hut in Westerhill Road, Coxheath, has been going for at least 20 years.

It includes stalls with delicious homemade cakes, books and bric-a-brac.

Sandra Baker, 71 , who is one of the organisers, said it has become a popular fixture for Coxheath’s older generation – with many ordering cakes in advance.

She said “It went really well. We had a lot of people there. Just to be able to come along and have a cup of coffee is really nice.”
