Away fans made to feel welcome

Following a trip to Maidstone with Aldershot Town Football Club I would like to thank the officials and supporters of Maidstone United Football Club for the warm and friendly welcome we received last Saturday.

I would also like to say a special thank you to the landlord and customers of The Hare and Hounds public house who also made us feel at home, both before and after the match.

The landlord certainly went that extra mile for us and this was very much appreciated. The hospitality he showed us was fantastic. It was so nice to find a “proper” pub that made the away fans so welcome. I hope and trust Maidstone United and The Hare and Hounds go on to achieve the great things they both thoroughly deserve.
