Busy bees are in stitches

-

It doesn’t matter if you’re a knitting novice or a sewing sensation, everybody is welcome to a regular needlework event. The monthly Teston Sewing Bee was the brainchild of Valerie Sharp, who wanted to do something to get people out of their houses, and get the community together. On the second Saturday of the month, Teston Village Hall is transformed into a one-stop-shop for all those crafty questions, with experienced seamstresses, knitters, and crocheters on hand to help. At the last sewing bee, held on Saturday, February 11, five women headed to the Church Street venue. The next sewing bee will be held on Saturday, March 11 from 9am-noon. your own drink. Call Karen on 01622 744292 or kazfilmber@ hotmail.co.uk for tickets.
