Frederic Cafe Bistro is found at number 14 Market Buildings in Maidstone, but technically it now also occupies numbers 15 and 16, after completing a recent extension.
This thriving French restaurant will now be able to serve twice as many people, thanks to an extended kitchen and more room for seating. Owned by husband and wife team Ulric and Sarah Allsebrook and named after their son, the cafe bistro prides itself on serving traditional French food from locally-sourced produce.
The grand opening was held on Monday, with Maidstone and the Weald MP Helen Grant attending, along with Lord Digby Jones, a well-known businessman.
Frederic Cafe Bistro is open Monday to Saturday between 9am and 4pm, and between 6pm and 10pm Wednesday to Saturday. It is closed on Sundays.
