Year of study at churches

-

Maidstone churches are to explore the issues of faith in a year-long scheme beginning with a psychological drama.

The Waypoint Project is a Christian initiative to connect with people in different ways.

This month, there will be two performances of Crosslight, a contemporary interpretation of an Easter passion play performed by Riding Lights Theatre Company.

Andrew Sewell, project chairman, said: “Lent is a chance to step back from routine and rediscover what really matters.

“Crosslight tells an old story in new ways and brings the life and death issues of Easter into focus in ways that could change how we look at our lives.

“We are delighted to present this moving and powerful production as part of the Waypoint Project.”

Performances will take place at the Vine Church, Boughton Lane, Maidstone at 7.30pm on March 26 and 28. Tickets cost £10.
