Barn dance for the RNLI
More than 60 people do-si-doed the night away at a toe-tapping fundraiser. Dancers enjoyed the music and calling of John and Karen Sweeney as the Maidstone branch of the RNLI held its annual barn dance at Fant Community Hall on Saturday. It is held at the Fant Lane venue, around the anniversary date of the inauguration of the first lifeboats in 1824. This year’s dance raised just under £300.
