Knockout way to help others

A stack of silverware is available to be won by teams from the Maidstone area taking part in an It’s a Knockout-style contest.

The Cornwallis East Kent Freemasons’ Charity is staging it at Aylesford Rugby Club in Hall Road and inviting teams from the public to take part and raise funds for their own causes. Those who raise the most for charity, as well as recording the fastest times, will win trophies at the challenge on Sunday, June 4.

Between eight and 10 people are needed for teams who will compete in a dozen foam-filled challenges including Bangle Mangles, Dizzy Dragons and Castle Chaos. Some sponsorship raised goes to children’s literacy schemes in the county, via the KM Charity Team.
