“Hopefully next season the team kick on and I’m sure if we do keep the same squad we can easily push for the play-offs – easily.

“I’m not 100% sure what’s going to happen, to be fair.

“I’ve had a strong end to the season but throughout the whole season it hasn’t been that great.

“So maybe the best thing is to have another year in the National League and have a solid whole season and then move on, or maybe it’s the time now.

“I’m not sure because I’ve not had that conversati­on yet.

“I’d want to stay ideally because I’m enjoying it here and it’s going great but I’ll be silly not to look at other options.

“Hopefully I can get something sorted here.

“It’s somewhere I really enjoy, it’s close to home, so I’m more than happy to be a part of the club’s future and take them into the Football League if that’s possible.”

Loza, who has four caps for Jamaica, saw a move to Port Vale fall through before joining United in October.

His pace, trickery and goals make him a target for scouts, but at 22 there’s no rush to return to the profession­al game.

He is, though, wary of leaving it too long.
