SCHOOLS FOOTBALL: VALLEY PARK FIGHT BACK STRONGLY TO LIFT CUP
Valley Park came from two goals down to win the Maidstone Schools under-15 cup final at the Gallagher Stadium last Thursday.
They trailed 2- 0 to Maidstone Grammar School early on after being punished for a couple of defensive mistakes.

However, Valley Park grew into the game with Charlie Weston and Sam Newland linking up well.
They pulled a goal back just before half-time, Cassius West heading home from a Hayden Knowles corner.
Valley piled on the pressure in the second half.
Newland equalised with a fantastic right-foot strike which found the top corner and the comeback was complete when Newland beat several defenders and slotted home.

Josh Stirman went close to putting Valley in front but goals from Drew Jarvis and George Nyman had Aylesford 2- 0 up at half-time.
Tom Richards netted a header in the second half and George Everest completed the scoring with a closerange finish.
