Special men get chance to share the fun

-

Dads, grandads, brothers, uncles, and family friends were all invited to be guests of honour at a primary school’s Special Gentleman Day.

Tiger Primary welcomed the relatives last Friday for an afternoon of crafts and games, including rounders, balloon making, and a dance off.

Charlotte Scott, headmistress at the Boughton Lane, Maidstone, school, said: “These events are a personal highlight for me as it gives us the opportunity to open up the school to our pupils’ families, and to showcase the children’s hard work.

“Seeing the children be proud and excited to show their loved ones their work, or to give them a tour of their classroom, is just so lovely to see.”
