Meat thief

A 23-year-old stole drinks and meat from stores around Maidstone. Thomas Levey pleaded guilty to taking £23.25 of drinks a shop in Week Street, and steak worth £59.39 from Morrison’s in St Saviour’s Road. The Bell Road resident was sentenced to 120 days in jail and ordered to pay £282 costs.
