10k runners for air ambulance
The air ambulance service is looking for volunteers to run The British 10K in London to raise money for the service.
By donating £35, volunteers will be able to take part in the charity event being held on Sunday, July 9, on a course passing some of London’s most iconic landmarks, but places are limited.
Lauren Elphick , the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance trust’s head of events management, said: “We rely almost entirely on donations and fundraising. Running for us will not only raise vital funds, but will help raise awareness of our lifesaving work.”
Runners will get a medal, T-shirt and running vest.
The helicopter needs in excess of £6.5 million to run each year.
