School pull off coup by recruiting former All Black forward Reid
Rugby
Cranbrook School are tapping into some All Black magic to boost their chances on the rugby field next season. They have secured the services of the former New Zealand forward Hika Reid as rugby coach and Tom Hillier, a former Wasps player, parent and Old Boy of Cranbrook School, to work alongside the 59-year-old All Black. Their appointments have been funded by a parent. Reid said: “My main focus, with the help of Tom, is to establish a positive rugby culture at Cranbrook School. By placing a strong emphasis on player development, we will endeavour to help each player realise their potential in understanding their position-specific duties and roles. “We will also be introducing an array of skills for them to adopt personalise and express out on the pitch.” Marden A ............ 6 Loose A .............. 6 Maidstone A........ 6 Townsend Hk B... 6 Lenham A ........... 6 Cobdown ............ 6 Marden C ............ 6 Police ................. 6 Hunton A............. 5 Headcorn A ......... 5 Penenden Hth A .. 6 Westborough ...... 5 Marden B ............ 5 Bearsted E .......... 5 Bearsted D.......... 5 Loose B .............. 6 Ditton A .............. 5 Clare Park ........... 5 Ditton D .............. 5 KCO .................... 5 Loose C .............. 5 Ditton E............... 5 Bearsted F .......... 6 Maidstone D ....... 6 Headcorn B ......... 6 Penenden Hth B .. 6 Maidstone E ........ 6 Lenham C ........... 6 Hunton B ............ 6 Ditton C .............. 6 5 258 157 29 5 206 160 28 3 197 184 21 2 181 199 18 2 194 213 14 3 170 204 14 1 174 208 12 1 172 227 8 3 164 136 18 3 153 148 18 2 182 189 18 4 146 167 16 2 164 154 15 2 174 167 13 1 156 178 10 4 158 103 28 4 181 130 22 3 164 131 20 4 138 123 20 2 108 139 10 1 141 173 6 0 115 206 2 4 244 170 26 4 177 138 25 4 158 147 22 3 163 124 20 2 188 200 15 2 112 184 12 3 158 181 14 1 135 191 10
