Top displays help Larkfield stay second

Larkfield Swimming Club remain second in the Millennium League with a round to go. They excelled in round five at Eltham Leisure Centre on Saturday, winning eight individual and eight relay races. Individual winners: Boys: Ben Hardy (12/under two-length freestyle) 42.18sec; Jack Brown (14/under two-length backstroke) 44.03; Daniel Harding (12/under twolength backstroke) 49.12, (9/10yrs one-length breaststroke) 26.68; Oscar Siverland-Bishop (open two-length butterfly) 38.47. Girls: Charlotte Carr (14/under two-length backstroke) 44.43; Neve Cowie (12/under backstroke) 49.47, Charlotte Courtier (14/under two-length freestyle) 37.87. Larkfield were equally successful in the relay races. Caitlin Bell, Cowie, Yasmin Fagg and Sophie Carr won the 12/under medley in 84.00 and the freestyle in 73.00. Bell, Charlotte Carr, Kagal Knight and Courtier added success in the 14/under medley in 74.00. There was a double for the boys as Rudy Strachan, Brown, Harding and Ben Hardy took the 10yrs freestyle in 80.00 and the medley in 92.10. Brown, Strachan, Jasper Nobes and Toby Hardy teamed up to win the 12/ under medley in 84.00. Toby Hardy, Brown, Nobes and Strachan added 12/ under freestyle success in 73.00. Oliver Knight, Ashwin Knight, Nick SiverlandBishop and Milo Strachan rounded off a superb night by winning the 14/under freestyle in 74.00.
