Aayush Rai, from the Maidstone Gurkha Boxing Club, won gold at the Slovakia International Cup. More than 500 boys and girls from 20 countries took part in the tournament, with Rai facing opponents from Poland, Germany and Russia in the 13 years 62kg category. Coach Jap Bhujel said: “I thought he would do well. I’m pleased.”
