Youngsters put on a show

Paddock Wood’s ninth summer tournament was a big success.

More than 180 teams travelled from all over the South East to Mascalls School last weekend.

Age groups ranged from under-7s to under-15s and there was also a pan-disability event.

The club said all the teams had a great time, adding there was some top quality football on show.

They thanked volunteers, sponsors and all the teams who entered.

Age group winners/runnersup: Under-7s: Vinters Green (winners), Tonbridge Junior City (r-up); Under- 8s: Raw Skills, Rusthall; Under-9s: Langton Green, Vinters Park; Under-10s: Rusthall, Hartley de Sales; Under-11s: Bexley All Stars, Paddock Wood Warriors; Under-12s: HSS Dragons, Tonbridge Junior Spitfires; Under-13s: Park Farm Troopers, Park Farm Rangers; Under-14s: Junior Reds FC, Kings Hill Blues; Under-15s: Vinters K, Vinters S; Under-11 girls: Anchorian Hearts, Grasshoppe­rs Juniors; Under-13 girls: Footscray Lions, Tankerton Stripes.
