Maidstone Flower Club: New members and visitors will be welcomed at this friendly club, which meets on the second Thursday of the month at Allington Baptist Church. AGM: The annual meeting of Allington Millennium Green Limited will be held on the Green at 7.30pm on Thursday, July 27. Reports from councillor­s/office: Cllr V Davies and Cllr Sullivan attended the St John’s School Fair on May 13, with a display and were pleased with the number of residents who visited the stall and signed up to the community alert system. Cllrs I Davies and Bob Hinder attended the Maidstone KALC meeting and minutes were received by members. The Cllr Hinder notified members that he had been nominated for the position of KALC representa­tive to the Maidstone Joint Transport Board and three nomination­s had been received and so an election would be held.
