The events for the forthcomin­g week are: August 12, Saturday Book Group from 11-30am-12-30pm; August 14, Monday Book Group from 2-3pm. Discuss the chosen book over a cup of tea/coffee. Thursday, August 17, Ladies Book Group. from 2.30-3.30pm. Discussion, chat and cuppa. If any of these groups appeal to you, why not go along and meet new people over a cuppa? Charity event: There are two charity events coming up which are asking for your support. Malling District Lions are holding a charity walk, in aid of Prostate Cancer UK, on Sunday, August 20, starting from East Malling Research Centre.
