Lewis Bedwell made an unbeaten double century for Hollingbou­rne. He finished on 207 not out as the Division 7 leaders closed on 312-3 against Eynsford. Jason Ovenden (3-7) and Dave Charlton (3-32) were the main wickettake­rs, with Eynsford 124 all out and beaten by 188 runs. Craig Sands hit a brilliant century to ease Linton Park’s Division 1 relegation concerns. The opener made 154 from 120 balls, with 19 fours and four sixes, to help his side close on 265- 4 against Plaxtol. Richard Knowler claimed 3-9 as Plaxtol were bowled out for 159, Linton winners by 106 runs. Bottom side Bearsted claimed their second win, beating Sissinghur­st by 50 runs. Opener Noel Johnston hit 10 fours in a knock of 89 off 72 balls as Bearsted closed on 170-2. Steven Benjamin (2-18) and Greg Laurenson (2-38) took care of the top four then Andrew Dampier collected 3-26 as Sissinghur­st were held to 120-9. Marden moved level on points with Shoreham thanks to a 10-wicket win over their Division 2 drop rivals. Sam Tomkinson and Henry Johnson took three wickets each as Shoreham were bowled out for 88. Alex Newport (53 not out) led Marden home. Linton Park 2nds won at Chevening Amblers in Division 5. Runs for Glen Rawson (84) and Tobey Castle (78) saw Linton to 205- 4. They held Chevening to 166-9, Thuraiappa­h Pushpavino­than with 3-11. Division 6 promotion hopefuls West Farleigh beat Horsmonden by 140 runs. Raj Rajeevan (53) and Tom McKellow (57) made half-centuries before Paul Baines (5-9) ran through the Hormonden card. Bearsted took 20 points in Division 7 after Cudham Wyse conceded. Alex Rose (4- 47) impressed as Hartley closed on 200- 8.

Ashley Ulph (73 not out) and Jake Rose (68 not out) were the unbeaten Leybourne batsmen.

Paul Bushell and Dave Leppard shared all 10 wickets as Hunton Wanderers beat The Mote 3rds in Division 1A Central.

Leppard finished with terrific figures of 5- 6, while Bushell took 5-33 as The Mote were dismissed for 146.

Jack Hart (73) earned a sevenwicke­t success for Hunton.

Rain denied Headcorn nearcertai­n victory at Gore Court 3rds.

The leaders had Court in trouble at 54-7 when the teams were forced off.

Lenham beat Rumwood by five wickets in a low-scoring Division 1B Central match.
