Park victory maintains promotion push

Linton Park moved up to second place in Division 2 with two games to play.
They continued their promotion push with a five-wicket victory over Borstal.
Mark Christmas (63) and Josh Knowler (53) put on 109 for the first wicket as Linton chased down a total of 193-9.
They moved above Smarden who were well beaten at Detling.
Captain Josh Town hit 81 as Detling closed on 222-7.
They won by 106 runs after 4-31 from Owen Matthews helped bowl out Smarden for 116.
In Division 1, Leeds & Broomfield were bowled out for 220 in reply to Wingham’s 276-7, beaten by 56 runs.
Staplehurst closed in on the Division 3 title by beating Upchurch.
Sam McConnel took Upchurch 132 all out.
George Watts (55 not out) and Bill Betts (41) secured a five-wicket success.
Bottom side Hunton lost to Aldington 4-29, with by eight wickets.
Opener Ashley Maguire (47 not out) was the only Hunton player to make double figures in a total of 114- 8.
Nine-man Bearsted went down to Saltwood by 198 runs.
Yannick Oakland took three wickets but his eight overs cost 68 runs as Saltwood closed on 232-37.
Raveendran Rajeevan hit 38 off 30 balls at the top of the reply but Bearsted were all out for 125.
In Division 4, a top v bottom clash between Brookland and Harrietsham went with form.
Set 273 for victory, Akhil Balagopal made 85 but Harrietsham closed 100 runs short on 172- 8.
Town Malling made a fight of their game against a Horton Kirby side who made 252-5. James Worrall (75), John Burbidge (41) and Andy Turner (38) batted well but Malling were bowled out for 209, beaten by 43 runs.
Mid-table Kings Hill lost to secondplaced High Halstow by 220 runs.
The visitors closed on 317- 6, Dave Wardle taking 3- 65, with Kings Hill 97 all out in reply.
In Division 5, Holborough Anchorians completed a six-wicket victory after holding St Nicholas to 162- 8.
Jordan Austin led Linton Park home against Kennington in Division 6.
He finished on 86 not out, including 12 fours and three sixes as Linton met a target of 215 with four wickets to spare.
Earlier, Charles Curteis (4-15) bowled well for Park.
The Loose card had a funny look about it in their 122-run defeat by Cobham.
Opener Chris Cooper made 72 from 76 balls but nobody else reached double figures as Loose were bowled out for 97 in reply to 219- 6.
