It’s four wins in a row for Maidstone men’s 1sts in Kent/Sussex Regional 1 after a 3-1 success at Worthing on Saturday.

Richard Turner scored twice while man-of-the-match Andy Turner’s neat tackle set up a four-man move and the clinching goal for young Zach Quinn.
Maidstone ladies’ 1sts lost 7- 0 at Ipswich in the East League Premier Division but they never gave up.
Three down at the break, they tried to build from the back with Catherine Broadbent and Lizzie McClintock linking well.
Player-of-the-match Laura Jackson drove relentlessly at the Ipswich defence.
The ladies’ 2nds lost 2-1 to Old Bordenians in the Kent Premier Division.
Maidstone bossed first-half possession and led with a calm finish from Victoria O’Reilly.

The ladies’ 3rds drew 1-1 at BromBecks in Kent Division 3.
Maidstone conceded from a short corner just after the break, but Maddy Jarvis’ superb tackles and distribution put them on the front foot and they levelled through captain Jaime Cronk at a short corner.
Player-of-the-match Olivia Ford put the BromBecks defence under pressure.
Young keeper Niamh O’Reilly was player-of-the-match on her debut for the ladies’ 4ths. She made some fine saves in a 2-1 defeat at Dartford in Kent Division 4.
