Horse in crash

The A229 through Linton was closed on the Maidstone side on Sunday morning after a crash involving two cars, one towing a horse trailer. Emergency services were called to the scene, near Heath Road, around 9am, and paramedics treated a woman for minor injuries. The horse being transported in the trailer was taken to a vet to be checked over. The road reopened around 1pm.
